Triennial is the gathering of women of the Evangelical Covenant Church that takes place once every three years.  It is an eventful experience in the lives of those who come.  It is a place to enjoy fellowship of the richest kind with women from all over the country and world.  It is a time to worship God with fullness and joy.  It is an opportunity to learn and grow and develop skills to strengthen your spiritual life, or to begin new life with Jesus Christ!  It is a moment to relax, unwind, abd to find joy and energy and peace in all of it.

Greetings!

Every three years there’s a familiar phrase that echoes around after Triennial: “Oh, I wish I’d gone!” We understand. You just don’t realize what a fun, exciting, life-changing event Triennial is until you get there and experience it for yourself. Triennial is not like anything else you can experience—it’s your one chance to connect in a special way with other women who love the Lord—women from your church, your conference, women from around the world. Those connections make all the difference. Then there’s the worship and the speakers, the workshops and the marketplace—they are all outstanding—like nothing you could ever experience in your own church or retreat! And don’t forget the tours—your chance to see the incredible sights of our nation’s capitol with your friends!

Only a few days remain before registration rates will rise. The Regular Registration period ends this Monday, May 31! Register securely online at our website today (if you are registering by mail, be sure your form is postmarked on or before June 1). If you've been working on getting a group of 10 or more together to save money and enjoy Triennial together, act now! Group registration forms must be postmarked on or before Tuesday, June 1 to receive the group discount.

How to pray for Triennial

We will be blessed at Triennial XIII by the attendance of international guests from Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe. We praise God that several have received visas to attend. Please pray for the women who are still waiting to find out if they will be able to get a visa to join the celebration at Triennial XIII.

Did you Know?

For only the second time in Triennial history, a man will be leading a seminar. When the previous presenter was unable to make it, Gary Walter, President of the Evangelical Covenant Church, stepped in to teach the Exploring Covenant Affirmations seminar on Friday afternoon.

Raise the Flag at Triennial XIII

Currently, WM is privileged to support Raise the Flag, a ministry that enables each Covenant Conference to bring women nationals from countries where the Covenant has mission fields to attend Triennial in the United States.  Women Ministries in our North Pacific Conference is honored to bring our guest from India to Washington, DC for Triennial in July 2010 and to our Conference for a touring visit. (If your church would like to host our guest, please contact Marilyn at 206-782-2580).  This commitment will cost $3,000 which is our goal.  If you wish to help by donating online, please use the Donate button -- we thank you!  We will be thrilled to add a note here when the $3,000 goal has been met.
