Our family has been attending Mercer Island Covenant Church since 1995. The Coast Guard moved us here and we loved it so much that we decided to retire here and raise our family. My sweetheart of 35 years and I have raised 3 boys a girl and 3 service dogs. Our youngest has just graduated from college and I'm now in the "Grandma Club" with 2 grandkids.
I love serving Christ through volunteering. After reading the "Purpose Driven Life" it was obvious my passion was for women and children. I've been part of our church WM team for 9 years and served as a coordinator for 3 of those years. I've also served as Vice-Chair of the NPC Women Ministries team and 4 years as the Retreat Chair. I've been labeled as a Craft Queen at church and I love to shop for anything except bathing suits.
My goal is to connect you all to this wonderful ministry that we are all a part of. And my hopes are to grow in Christ along with you. Being part of the Women Ministries is a joy and honor for me. I believe I am part of a family that is united to grow in Christ, serving many ministries and, reaching out to impact the world.

I am a lover of Jesus, my family and numbers! My Master has gifted me with some accounting talents, and I want to use them for His Glory. I was first introduced to the Covenant denomination when I worked for a small CPA firm in college and my boss was treasurer of one of the northwest Covenant churches. After I graduated, one of my audit clients was the NPC. I lived on Mercer Island at the time and became a member of MICC. My wonderful husband and I are now members of Cascade Covenant in North Bend where I sing in the choir and enjoy working in the children's Sunday school programs.

After growing up on the East Coast and living in various parts of the world, I now make my home in Yakima, Washington. One of my favorite things about living in Yakima is being part of Wiley Heights Covenant Church. I am excited about the NPC-WM projects and especially proud of the work being done through the Break the Chains initiative. It's an honor to serve on the Board and see the great works God is doing through Women Ministries in the North Pacific Conference.
